Our offices have assisted several clients with regard to labour related matters. We have rendered advice with regard to disciplinary hearings and have assisted clients in advising them of the manner in which to attend to their disciplinary hearings. We have also assisted clients in claiming monies due to them from their employers and have been successful in this regard. We have had experience with conciliation and arbitration hearings at the CCMA as well as review proceedings in the Labour Court, and rescissions of default awards both in the CCMA and the Bargaining Council. To date, no client has terminated our mandate in respect of any matter.

Mrs. Chiba focuses on all aspects of litigation having due regard for the stringent time limits involved therein. Being the sole proprietor she ensures compliance with these time limits which our firm believes to be of the utmost importance in rendering to our clients the standard of performance due to them. Mrs. Chiba shows due diligence, concern and co-operation with the particular dilemma a client finds themselves involved in. 


She has been in charge of litigation portfolios in excess of 1000 files all involving procedures from the issue of summons to the trial stage as well as the steps in execution after trial. Mrs. Chiba has furthermore had extensive experience in litigation based on matters emanating from the banking industry. During her employ with the previous firm she dealt only with matters relating to the banking industry and obtained great success in the department, with the rate of success going from 10% to almost 95 %. Accordingly the firm’s portfolio with Standard Bank was extended to include numerous other departments. She has also dealt with the resolution of disputes pertaining to housing and has gained extensive experience in the domestic violence sector of law.

Ms. P Tourapi has obtained a qualification in conveyancing and was admitted as a conveyancer during February 2008. In this regard, she has attended to transfers of property and estate transfer work, as well as drawing powers of attorney and deeds of sale for various matters. 


A certified copy of her admission certificate is annexed to the bundle of documents attached to the bid document. She is a diligent worker and intends to further her business by providing a service to client which surpasses normal expectation. 


Ms. Tourapi has furthermore recently acquired invaluable experience pertaining to housing disputes, and in this regard has had opportunity to act both for persons initiating eviction proceedings as well as for potential evictees. 

Ms. Tourapi has also gained experience in matters concerning Town Planning Contraventions, Building Regulations Contraventions and Public Health By - Laws contraventions. Our firm has attended to a number of such matters on behalf of the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and we are proud to advise that we have achieved success in each matter handed over to our offices.
